This seminar looks at the lubrication regimes, wear, contamination, oil functions, oil chemistry and failure opportunities of the diesel engine with the goal of providing a thorough example of Tribology.
Our speaker:
Michael D. Holloway has over 35 years' experience in industry. Michael started the 5th Order Industry as business for competency development and CLS, OMA and ICML certification preparation.
From 2013 to 2019 he worked for ALS Tribology, 1999 to 2013 he served as Director for NCH Corp. Prior to 1999, Holloway worked as an Applications Engineer OEM specialist for General Electric Plastics, Rohm & Haas Electronic Chemicals as a Product Engineer, as an Aerospace Materials Chemist for WR Grace and as a Polymer Research Chemist for Olin Chemical.
Holloway served as the North Texas Section Chair and Condition Monitoring Chair for STLE as well as certification examiner for the International Council for Machinery Lubrication and an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Texas.
