Emerging Issues and Trends in Tribology and Lubrication Engineering
Speaker: Paul Hetherington, STLE President
Presentation Topic:
In May the STLE released the 2020 Report on Emerging Issues and Trends in Tribology and Lubrication Engineering. STLE has published two previous reports (2014 and 2017) on trends and issues for their members and the overall tribology and lubrication engineering community. These reports represent the outcome of extensive multi-phase research efforts. This report, and the research effort behind them, encompass the global opinions and experiences of approximately 600 tribologists and lubrication engineers who participated in the research as advisors and editors.
This presentation will highlight some of the most important trends and issues found in the 2020 Report on Emerging Issues and Trends in Tribology and Lubrication Engineering.
In addition, as STLE President, Paul will provide an update on recent activities and plans for the near future including information on the development of the most recent STLE Strategic Plan.
